Karola Heise has been working in the consumer goods industry for nearly 20 years. First, she worked in an agency where she was responsible for strategic brand management and then she decided to move to the industry. Karola Heise was born in the Hanseatic city of Hamburg. She studied in Bavaria and has lived in Frankfurt/ Main for the last 12 years.

The emphasis of her work lies on the examination of intercultural themes (e.g. positioning French products on the German market) and on the analysis of different company cultures on corporate level.

Karola Heise acquired her broad knowledge that includes brand positioning, food retailing, POS and classic communication tools within the chocolate industry. She started to work for Ferrero and later moved to Nestlé. After a short intermezzo in the cheese industry at Bongrain, she decided to become self-employed in 2008.

While she was self-employed, Karola Heise successfully completed a business coach training. In addition, she works as a lecturer in Marketing at the University of Cooperative Education in Frankfurt. Since she is working as an interim manager in the marketing departments of variou companies, Karola Heise is still involved in operational business.
